The Kochs got to meet Pavarotti a second time after one of his concerts.
George and his father received an invitation to a reception held in the tenor’s honor.

In addition to Pavarotti, a number of other people who went to the concert attended the reception on Aug. 22, 1984. When he saw George come into the room, he signaled for him to be brought over to him. Pavarotti signed the photo (taken last time -- see previous page) while George sat on his lap and the tenor signed autographs for others.
