Humorous Audio Files
Part I: Groups (More Than One File)
Anne Robinson / The Weakest Link
Someone who impersonates "Weakest Link" host Anne Robinson recorded this parody of what might happen if she were to dial a Chinese restaurant after an unsatisfactory experience.
The British version ("The Weakest Link") is where it all started. In this outtake, Anne actually breaks into laughter at the absurdity of a contestant's answer.
This audio
file from "Weakest Link" contains actual clips of questions and answers, but
they have been edited in such a way that it sounds like the contestant is giving
the most ridiculous answer possible, making for an outrageous "round" of the
show.
"There's an Elephant in the Living Room"
I used to be one of the sound board engineers at our church. Dad, who has been the pastor of the church for some 10 years, has given more than 500 sermons over the years. They are not the kind most people expect, though; there's often some humor built into parts of them while still getting across the message. Anyway, two other sound board engineers -- Matt Waterman and Chris Lyon, both of whom are masters of audio editing -- once decided to surprise Dad with a bizarre remix of some of his most amusing sermon sound-bytes. As it played over the intercom (thankfully the service was already over), the predominant phrase was "There's a damn elephant in the living room!"
This file, the
shortest of the "Elephant" remixes, is approximately 35 seconds long.
This file, the second of four "Elephant" remixes, is just over
3:45 and is a
bit different from the others.
This file, "Elephant" cut #3, has Dad sounding like he's on some sort of
drugs. Lasts about 4:20.
This file, the last of the "Elephant" edits, has our master audio mixers
Matt and Chris pulling out all the stops. Runs 3:10.
